Master the essentials of camping with hands-on lessons in fire building, shelter construction, gear preparation, and more! Please meet at the pavilions near the playground. 

Spin your favorite records at the library! Bring your vinyl collection, connect with fellow enthusiasts, swap albums, and enjoy some music. Light refreshments will be provided.

Reunite with your special friend and hear all about their overnight adventures! Then, enjoy a cozy pajama storytime together. Snacks will be provided.

Need a quiet space to write?

As part of Writers' Week, we invite authors to our Library Writing Retreat—a dedicated space to focus on your work in progress and build your word count. Coffee provided!

Use your sleuth skills (and strong stomachs) to identify different flavors of candies! Test your taste buds and see if you can guess them all. Registration is encouraged but not required. For students in middle and high school.

Dr. Megan Moore joins us for a special presentation on native mangrove trees. Learn how to identify them and discuss their crucial role in protecting our coastline and ecosystems.
