Month Calendar

This summer, we’re celebrating all of the creativity, talents, and stories that make our community shine. From art and music to writing and performance, we’re highlighting the many ways our members express themselves.

Learn how to make healthy snacks on a budget, how to add more fruits, vegetables and whole grains into your life, and how to choose drinks that support your health.

Use your sleuth skills to identify different flavors of drinks! Test your taste buds and see if you can guess them all. Registration is encouraged but not required. For students in middle and high school.

Learn how to help keep our waterways clean with oysters and how to enjoy our natural scallop fishery. You'll also receive some tips and information on how to enjoy scalloping!

Cook your way through our mystery basket in our annual Chopped competition! For youth ages 8-17, but all are welcome to come be spectators. Contestants must participate in teams of two or three.

Have you ever felt driven toward a career in a creative field such as film, music, or writing?

Sing your heart out at the library in celebration of International Karaoke Day! This is a great chance to share your love of music, connect with others, and enjoy a lively, supportive atmosphere. Pizza and mocktails provided!

Learn the basics of coding in this class for beginners! Attendees will be working with a Codey Rocky robot and learning a block-based coding language. Students will be encouraged to collaborate in groups during their learning.

Learn the art of improv acting in this dynamic and hands-on workshop!

Enjoy the culture and creativity of your neighborhood at our after-hours Local Artist Gallery! This special evening event will showcase the incredible talent of artists from right here in New Port Richey.
