Producer, songwriter, teacher and troubadour: Karlus Trapp will share his entertaining and educational presentation of "The Roots of Black Music in America." This is a 100 year journey back through time, offering a fresh perspective through song, story and history to learn about the music of America's black musical giants. Hear Scott Joplin during the birth of Ragtime. Dance to the Charleston in the 1920s. Play air guitar with Chuck Berry and sing along with the Supremes in the 60s. 

This performance is open to all ages. No registration is required but seating will be on a first come, first served basis.
