Join us for this month's Master Gardeners class — Examining the Desert Rose.
Not everything is as it seems with this unusual succulent known for its beautiful trumpet-shaped flowers and unusual growth habit. This plant, when mature, can be "lifted" (root washed) to expose and enhance the visually sculptural effects of its roots and caudex, or modified stem. This complex sounding process is actually quite simple and produces results that are unique to each plant. Join us in examining the Desert Rose, where it came from, its growing requirements, and how to "lift" the entire plant for year-round visual appeal.
Presented by the Master Gardeners. Please register for this free event using the UF/IFAS Pasco County Extension Services: Eventbrite Page.
