The images in this meaningful photographic exhibition bring attention to sea-level rise. King Tides are the highest tides when the moon is closest to the earth and the gravitational pull is the strongest. But what happens when King Tides are more frequent or continual, as predicted to happen by 2050? According to the EPA, "Sea level rise will make today's king tides become the future's everyday tides." How will this affect our shoreline development and infrastructure, housing, and habitat, and what steps can we take now to mitigate sea-level rise by protecting our natural habitats?

This exhibit is presented in partnership by the Tampa Bay Estuary Program and the New Port Richey Public Library.

View the exhibit at City Hall, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
