This month, we're painting like Haring!
Keith Haring was known for his cartoonish style, which simplified social issues in the form of art. He gained publicity making humanitarian paintings during the AIDS crisis and for making his work freely available to the public. In this class, you will create your own painting in the fashion of Keith Haring, utilizing his bold lines, fluid movements, and color-blocking. Our instructor will guide you through the process, offering tips and techniques to help you embrace Haring's daring spirit and animated style.
No experience is necessary to attend this class. Registration is required as supplies are limited. Can't make this time? A duplicate class will be offered at 12pm.
Please Note: This class is geared toward adults. The painting techniques are advanced, and the subject matter is mature. This is not a children's art class.
